Omnos Platform Features: Food list

The Omnos platform has many features beyond the initial test results on the Dashboard. In this blog, we will showcase one of these features called the ‘Food List’.

At Omnos, we believe that knowledge is the cornerstone of empowerment, especially when it comes to your health. One of the most fundamental aspects of health is the food we nourish ourselves with. What you eat has a direct impact on many aspects of your body in terms of nutrients available for energy, healing and growth as well as physical and mental health.

The Omnos platform has many features beyond the initial test results on the Dashboard.  In this blog, we will showcase one of these features called the ‘Food List’. We will guide you through it step by step so you know where to find it on the Dashboard but more importantly understand the full value it can bring to your health journey.

Where is my food list?

If you are new to Omnos, please sign up and fill out the self-assessment on the first page. This will give us an insight into any symptoms you might be experiencing and analyse them. Once you are logged in to your personal Omnos account go to the upper right-hand corner and click the 3 parallel lines which will open a drop-down menu.

After selecting Results from the drop-down menu, you will be presented with 4 further options.

Upon selecting the Food List you will see an extensive list of food sources we recommend for you. This list is further organised into food to increase and those to avoid or reduce. The list is dynamic, which means that each time you update your self-assessment and change your answers, the list will adapt to the recommendations. The same adjustment happens when you add test results and update these as you monitor your progress.

At first, the Food List will provide a broader selection of food sources based solely on your self-assessment. Over time, and with the addition of more test marker results, the list becomes more personalised.

But it does not stop there! After selecting a food source of your choice you can see Why? it has been recommended to you.

Understanding what food sources to focus on enables you to take better control over your health journey. As food is integral to our everyday life, knowing which sources to increase and which to reduce/avoid can help us make better and healthier choices on our way to optimal health.

Working additionally with a qualified practitioner can further help you prioritise your nutrient needs. They can support you by reviewing your current diet and eating habits, as well as any other lifestyle aspects and work with you to create a plan following your personal health goals.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
