A common problem people face when beginning their journey towards improved and optimised health is knowing where to start. At Omnos, we strongly focus on symptoms when assessing test results, as they are significant indicators of what is going on in your body.
Today we are launching a new feature called the "Which Test Recommendation" that ranks how well each test is matched to your personal symptom questionnaire answers. Once you complete your questionnaire, your top-ranked test will be revealed, and each test on the platform will be ranked, which will also be displayed on the shop and dashboard.
The Mini Questionnaire
Alternatively, for those not ready to fill out the full questionnaire yet, we have curated a small specific set of questions that allow you to assess how well an individual test is matched to you. After completing the mini-questionnaire, the strength of the match from very weak to very strong will be provided.
What happens if I don't match well with any tests?
In the rare case that a recommendation for a test can not be made, you will be given the opportunity to book a call with one of our experts to discuss your case. The "Which Test consultation" is 15 minutes and allows our experts to find out key details about you to help make a personalised recommendation. There are many reasons why you may be advised to book with one of our experts. It is important to understand that this is an opportunity to collect more information about what is important to you to help us point you in the right direction.
What happens when I update my symptom questionnaire?
Every time you update your full symptom questionnaire, the test ranking will change based on your new answers. As re-testing is an important step, we never rule out any test except for one; if you have already taken a genes test, this will no longer show up as a possible recommendation as the results stay the same. We will also exclude tests not meant for your sex from recommendations.
Does the ranking take into account my test results?
Your test recommendation only uses your current symptoms and does not consider your current biomarkers. While this may change in the future, for now, the recommendations will be made solely via your symptom questionnaire.
How do I learn which test is best for me?
So if you're new to Omnos you can either go to the shop page of the test you want to check how well it matches to you and click on the “Is this test right for you” section to find the mini questionnaire, maximum 40 questions. Or if you want to see all of our tests ranked against each other you can sign up for a free account and fill out your questionnaire on your dashboard.
If you already have an account you can use this link to take you right to your questionnaire and it will prompt you to sign in or create an account before you can fill it out.
Why should I invest in filling out the full questionnaire?
Symptoms are the bedrock of functional health investigation, they not only indicate which bodily systems may need support, but when we start to dig into how we subjectively experience life, we can uncover some vital truths about our health and selves. Taking the full questionnaire not only helps us assess health but can now make it easier to decide which direction to take faster and with more confidence. Our symptom questionnaire is designed to highlight areas of your health that need attention, which tests will be most useful to reveal more, and some basic nutritional, lifestyle and supplement recommendations you can do now to start your journey. And best of all, it's absolutely free; just create an account to reveal interesting insights to help you on your journey to optimal health.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
